Anna University of Tamil Nadu state will soon release notification regarding random number for applicants who are aspirants for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2018. Every year application number increases and this year approx 2 Lakh candidates filled the form for counselling for TNEA Anna University 2018. Last year about 1.41 lakh applications received in single-window counselling for admissions into engineering colleges across the state.

The Random Number process is generated when more than one candidate has secured the same mark in the examination. The Random Number is a 10-digit computer-generated number assigned to counselling applicants and will be also used to prepare merit lists. Random Number TNEA 2018 will be assigned to those candidates only whose registration process is completed successfully and all required document submit positively. It will generate before the rank list is published and after the Anna University counselling process is over by the Anna University only at official website in online mode. It is a very reliable process and has very low possibility chance of mistake, the outcome obtained is so unpredictable and the number when produced once cannot be reproduced again. Random number basically generates after the NEET or AIIMS examination comes and creates confusion among various universities in their admission process.

Important Things To Know About Random Number Process 2018:

  1. Candidates have to submit their application forms before the last scheduled date and ensure their registration process successfully.
  2. Candidate must secure some score according to the propriety table. The first and other priority are maths, physics, and chemistry or biology respectively.
  3. According to the Anna University, Random Number selection will be done after first preference is given to the elder candidate and then to others.
